Park Shin Hye to return with 'The Judge from Hell Season 2'

 Actress Park Shin Hye will return with The Judge from Hell Season 2.

At the SBS Drama Media Day event, "SBS DRAMA: NEXT EPISODE", held on the morning of June 1 in Seoul, Hong Sung Chang, CEO of Studio S, revealed, "Actress Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, will return next year with Season 2 of The Judge from Hell."

At the event, SBS introduced its upcoming drama lineup for the second half of this year and the first half of 2027, along with teasers.

The network's second-half 2026 lineup includes Agent Kim ReactivatedFlex X Cop Season 2Doctor XGood Partner Season 2, and Nine to Six.

For the first half of next year, SBS will air AwakeningThe Long Shot Trial, Akmong, and Full Count.

Although this SBS drama lineup had already been announced, CEO Hong Sung Chang used the event to unveil two additional dramas from next year's slate that had not yet been revealed to the public: Season 2 of The Judge from Hell, starring Park Shin Hye, and Dash, headlined by actress Shin Hae Sun.

The Judge from Hell surpassed a peak viewership rating of 13.6%, propelled by Park Shin Hye's transformation as Kang Bit Na, a demon inhabiting the body of a judge. The series dominated its time slot across all channels and ranked among the top positions on global OTT charts. With its intense vigilante narrative, in which evil-doers are punished by demonic means, the drama delivered a powerful sense of catharsis to viewers and became a mega-hit in the lineup of SBS's Friday-Saturday dramas.
